Location Location Location! This place is great if you want to walk around el Centro, right next to the Zocalo. You can litterally shop around, drop your purchases and head back for more by foot! Modest staff, service was great. We had the chance to check-in earlier with no additional charge. Prices are written at the reception black on white so no surprises. Room are very rustic but comfortable. So if you expect the high-tech 5 star service, this place may not be for you. Food is ok, nothing fancy but the ambiance is relaxing. I highly recommend the place especially for the location.
This was such a nice hotel I’ve been in. the room we’re clean and they would leave the best chocolate I’ve ever had. food was good too I wish I would’ve tried more but I am a picky eater however my aunt would let me try some of her food it was great. I didn’t meet the owner but I know she is a great person I saw someone complaining about the cats but so they know they don’t go in the kitchen but can roam around the hotel the owner gives these street cats food they don’t bother you so please let them be. I went when they were celebrating el 20 de noviembre right as we where getting out the church they were just starting which was to nice we watched as we walked to the hotel and once we got in I would still see it going from the window. Planning my next trip to Mexico soon and will be stopping here
We stayed for a few nights at this hotel. The location is very central, but be aware it can be noisy due to many festivities on the plaza. The service was good and facilities were clean. It has a nice charm.
Love the charm and character of this grand old girl!! Have been staying here off and on for the past 30 years. She seems to have recently gotten a refresh. Great staff, great location, charming rooms! Love her!
